Zou Desbiens is a glass artist based in Quebec City. While experimenting with molten glass, she discovered a passion for the different textures of the material generated by its manipulation. It is through the multitude of forms that glass can take that the artist explores the different facets of light and its expression in contact with transparency, both in matte and glossy finish. Zou Desbiens lives and works in Quebec City. After graduating from Espace VERRE, she perfected her technical skills by working for many artists and glass studios, including the FireBrand Glass Studio with Julia Reimer and Tyler Rock (Black Diamond, AB) as well as Maryse Chartrand's studio. In 2017, she was a finalist for the Prix François-Houdé.
