La Guilde

Founded in 1906, La Guilde is a non-profit arts organization that preserves, supports research, and promotes Inuit art, First Nations art, Métis art, and contemporary Canadian craft practices. In addition to its permanent exhibition—which presents objects from its collection—La Guilde offers a dynamic program of temporary exhibitions, public programming, and educational activities. In parallel, yet distinct from its non-profit mandate, La Guilde also supports the livelihood and practices of emerging and established artists through the promotion and sale of their work in the dedicated gallery space.
