TREY FLOZ is a Freelance Illustrator and Visual Artist hailing from Yellowknife, NWT; a proud member of the YKDFN (Yellowknife's Dene First Nation), and a graduate of the Alberta College of Art & Design in Fine Arts. He emphasizes the significance of acknowledging one's roots and beginnings - Through his artwork, he found a way to give back to his community and continues to create new opportunities through his artistic endeavors. The moniker "FLOZ" originally stemmed from a term used to describe the imperfections present in his artwork. As an Artist, TREY FLOZ grapples with the challenge of translating the mental image into a physical artistic representation. Embracing imperfections and flaws within his work is where his personal style began to take shape. His unconventional and irregular approach sets him apart, as he navigates the fine line between perfectionism and artistic expression.
