Trained in architecture in France, Lucie Leroux began her career in architectural lighting before moving to Montreal. She discovered textile design at the Centre design et impression textile de Montréal where she has been teaching since 2015. After her training in textiles, she perfected her expertise with Daniel Henry (for ennoblement), Nathalie Tremblay (for natural dyes), and Eloisa Alcaraz (for pleating). She is also interested in digital tools. In parallel to her personal projects, Lucie Leroux is co-founder of Collectif Textile—a journal of inspiration on contemporary textile design—and of ct*studio, a print design agency.
