Sébastien Duchange has developed an approach based on observing and questioning society. He develops an ironic and narrative reflection that illustrates figurativeness as well as allegory or caricature. Based in Quebec since 2005, the glass artist grew up in France and completed his training as a glassblower at the Centre européen de recherche et de formation aux arts verriers. In 2006, he co-founded Atelier Sébomari along with Marie-Hélène Beaulieu and their collaborative works won several prizes and awards, including the Prix Jean-Marie Gauvreau in 2016. Duchange participated in numerous exhibitions in Canada, the United States, Sweden and Italy, and his works can be found in several public and private collections around the globe.
