Paul Guidera creates unique ceramic objects. Initiated to the practice as a teenager, he obtained his diploma in Fine Crafts in France and then moved to Montreal to complete a DEC in Ceramics. Using different techniques, he intervenes on the surface to build layer upon layer the elements that decorate her pieces. Figuration allows him works to be accessible while inviting the observer to appropriate the story. He has participated in several workshops and artist residencies, including at the Rozynski Art Centre, and was awarded the Prix Évolution de la caisse Desjardins de la culture in 2018, the peer vote of 1001 pots in 2019, and the Prix François-Houdé 2021.
