Parr Parr

Parr Parr is an Inuk artist from Kinngait (Cape Dorset, NU), specializing in sculpture. At the age of sixteen, he began carving Inukshuks and eventually incorporated various animals into his sculptural practice. Parr Parr is from a large family of artists. His great-grandfather, also named Parr Parr, was a renowned artist who created more than 2,000 drawings in less than ten years while virtually blind. Today, Parr Parr is one of the most sought-after Inuk artists in Canadian art galleries.
