The works of Marianne Chénard materialize through performance, video, photography, and ceramics. Currently living in Montreal, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University (Vancouver, BC). Her works evoke the human perception of nature and pay close attention to human actions on the environment. The artist explores all the elements of ceramics (water, earth, fire and air) and their stages of transformation. In addition to having completed several artist residencies and receiving prizes and grants, she participated in many solo and group exhibitions across Canada and France.
