Magali Robidaire studied graphic design and illustration in France. It was in Montreal that she discovered her passion for silk-screening and textile printmaking at the Centre de design et d'impression textile (Montreal, QC). With a gentle eye and technique, she explores the experience of reminiscence - those vague memories that plunge us into a state of meditative contemplation. Using fibres, brushes, colours, patterns, and her background as an illustrator and textile designer, she creates cathartic pieces inspiring calm and benevolent observation.
