    Lucy Tasseor Tutsweetok (1934-2012) is a celebrated Inuk artist from Arviat (NU). She is known for her semi-abstract sculptures made of basalt. The subtle but definitive faces and limbs within her sculptures follow across the edges of the rock, folding human form into the pre-existing contours of the stone. The artist exhibited nationally and internationally, such as in France, Switzerland, and Germany.
