Krysta Furioso is an Ojibwe beadweaver with more than 30 years of experience. She grew up near the Great Lakes, where she was first introduced to beadwork by the Ojibwe People of that area. She has worked with every type of beads and stitches but now primarily works with Japanese Delica Beads as well as a few traditional bead weaving stitches. Proud of her heritage, she hopes to carry on the long tradition of beadweaving and bring the beauty and history of this craft into contemporary awareness.
