Johnny Kaigadlak Papigatok comes from a family of sculptors. He has a refined way of carving, often using the softer grey stone to carve many facial expressions and details. Johnny K. Papigatok is a perfectionist, and it isn't unusual for him to carve even the underside of his sculptures. He likes to carve everyday moments featuring people as well as animals.
