Joanna Katrena Cooper is a beadwork artist from Kuujjuaq, Nunavik, QC, who uses her skills in beading to create one of a kind jewellery that often features sealskin. Cooper is currently studying at Concordia University and graduated from John Abbott College in 2020. In an interview with the Inuit Art Foundation, Cooper described her art practice is centred around joy: “I only make time to create things I believe I would enjoy, and am very fortunate to have an audience that also enjoys them.”
