Jérémie St-Onge is a Montreal glass artist whose work questions the ambivalence of the vase as a functional tool or an object of art. Trained at Espace Verre in 2014, he quickly joined Quebec workshops as an assistant. By taking up certain forms and concepts of ceramics and archaeological glass, he explores the role of the blown glass material in our spaces. Named favourite of the jury several times at SOUK mtl (2019-2021) and having won the Archiproduct Design prize in Milan (2021), his works stand out globally, and he exhibits, among others, at the Salone del Mobile (2021), at the MAC Auction (2021) and soon at the International Biennial of Crafts and Creations “Revelations” in Paris (2023).
