Jeanne Létourneau is a visual artist born in Quebec City and now living in Montreal. She graduated from Espace VERRE (Montreal) in 2021. Her artistic practice combines everything she loves and hates, which stirs her emotions and drives her creativity. Her work is mainly about the city and its environment: she is fascinated by its evolution. She chose the medium of glass for its transparency and ability to absorb light, diffuse it and change it. She received numerous awards and residencies, including the Bourse Houdé-Mendel (2021), the Bourse de la fondation Faire la Différence (2021-2022), and the Pattie Walker Memorial Award (2022). She was a 2022 Emerging Artists in Residence cohort member at the Pilchuck Glass School (Stanwood, WA) and won the 2023 RBC Glass Award.
