Originally from Toronto (ON), Erin Vincent holds an MFA from York University (ON), specializing in Sculpture and Installation. Her work draws on a variety of repetitive and labour-intensive processes and materials. The paper artist has always been fascinated by what could be found around her. She does not want to follow society's ideologies and her work is made to deconstruct pre-established hierarchies. She explores themes of emotional intensity, intuition, and the relationship between things through organic forms. Her works have their own liveliness through their heightened tactile qualities. She has exhibited her work in Canada, in the United States as well as in England.
