Glass artist Dylan Duchet obtained his Brevet des Métiers d'art "glassblower" from the École Nationale du Verre (Yzeure, France) in 2014. He then studied at Espace VERRE (Montreal), graduating in 2017. He is fascinated by lines in urban landscapes and natural environments. He also experiments with computer-generated lines, which he refines digitally, and lines that emerge from his reflection on motif and form. All these lines guide his artistic thinking: his eye is drawn to the details of the scenery. Glass allows him to express himself and give concrete form to his creative thinking. Since beginning his studies in France and Montreal, he worked as an assistant glassblower for many established artists. He has also participated in several group exhibitions.
