    Cynthia Sansregret was introduced to textiles by knitting unique and personalized hats. After training at the Maison des métiers d'art de Québec, she graduated from the Centre des textiles contemporains de Montréal in 2020. Through a naive and fantastic universe, Cynthia Sansregret's work addresses themes such as existential questioning, the understanding of emotions, and the search for personal and societal identity. The artist enjoys transforming aspects of life into characters belonging to the world of comic books. Working with jacquard weaving allows her to express her emotions and to share the thread of her story. Her work won the Prix du public at MMAQ’s student exhibition in 2016 and was exhibited at the Biennale internationale du lin de Portneuf in 2019.
