Cheryl Wilson-Smith

Cheryl Wilson-Smith is an established sculptural glass artist living in Red Lake (ON), surrounded by rocks, trees and lakes. Through her practice, she wishes to capture the insignificance of humanity in the face of nature while transforming everyday glass into unbelievable revelations. Although mostly known for her sculptures, the artist also works with installations and completed architectural commissions for a few institutions. In addition to being exhibited in multiple galleries across North America, she received the RBC Award for Glass in 2014 and 2018 Chalmers Arts Fellowships.
