Charlie Larouche-Potvin discovered glass at Espace Verre, where he graduated in 2020. He quickly developed an obsession with glassblowing, especially Venetian techniques. To further his knowledge, he trained with William Gudenrath at the Corning Museum of Glass (New York, USA) and with Davide Fuin in Murano (Italy). He understands the making of Venetian cups as a means to engage in a conversation with glass, which he sees as an evolving and self-transforming element. Charlie Larouche-Potvin is currently a member of the Atelier Fusion at Espace Verre, a program that allows him to work and refine his glass techniques.
