Born in Saint-Casimir de Portneuf (QC), Andrée Bélanger—after completing two university degrees in art education and graphic design—decided, in 2012, to enrol in a 3-year program at the Maison des métiers d'art de Québec. Through this experience, she mastered working with stone, wood, metal, and various moulding techniques and developed a real passion for sculpture. Sometimes engaged, often poetic, her work calls for reflection. Andrée Bélanger participated in several artist residencies and exhibitions throughout Quebec.
