As part of the Beading Now!, exhibition, La Guilde is pleased to welcome the artist Nico Williams for a beading workshop. The participants who will partake in this performance will have the chance to create a beaded swatch while discussing current socio-political issues with the artist, that are sometimes controversial, such as residential schools, police brutality, etc. They will also learn about the incarcerated indigenous community in Canada.
