Discover the vibrant world of Inuit art at La Guilde! Designed for young art makers, this activity is an introduction to printing techniques, and a selection of themes, and stories found in Inuit art. Inspired by the printed artworks of renowned artist Jessie Oonark, participants will have the opportunity to express their artistic flair and create their own linocut print artworks. We look forward to seeing you during spring break!
SPRING BREAK - INUIT TOUR ON SHERBROOKE STREET
From March 1 to 9, the McCord Stewart Museum, La Guilde and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts invite families to experience the fun and enrichment of the atauttikkut - together circuit. Over a distance of less than a kilometer, three artistic stops offer a wide range of exhibitions and creative activities for young and old revolving around Inuit art.
