Stéphanie Morissette

Stéphanie Morissette is a multidisciplinary artist whose research explores the conflicting relationships between humans, the elements of nature and technology through the past, the present and the future. With degrees in Art History and Visual Arts from Concordia University and Screenwriting from UQAM, she has participated in several international residency programs in Iceland, Finland, Canada, and Germany. She constantly seeks to create movement in her work, either through serial or sequential work, installation in space or the use of technology. Her work has been presented in galleries and festivals in Canada, the United States, and internationally, such as Mutek Montreal, Les Rencontres Internationales Traverse (France) and the International Symposium on Electronic Art (Hong Kong).
