Born in Ulukhaktok (Holman, NT), Rex Goose is an Inuk carver, jewellery maker, and graphic artist. Growing up surrounded by passionate artists, he always wanted to become one. He specializes in miniature sculptures and jewellery, which he carves using ivory, antler, whalebone, and white alabaster. His artworks—in addition to being exhibited across Canada—are held in the collections of the Canadian Museum of History (Gatineau, QC) as well as the Musée National des beaux-arts du Québec (QC).
