Jobena Petonoquot is pursuing her MFA in Fibers & Material Practices at Concordia University (2022). Her solo-exhibition Rebellion of my Ancestors has been exhibited at Warren G Flowers (2019) & the Ottawa Art Gallery (2022). In 2020 her work was exhibited in the BACA Biennale. Her work was featured in Art Souterrain (2022) in Montreal QC, & Art Space Gallery in Peterborough Ont. Her work was exhibited at “Exposition Collective : Registre de savoir-faire Musée d'art contemporain des Laurentides” (2023). She is represented by Chiguer Art Contemporain in Quebec, QC (2022). Her artwork will be installed at the Holy See Embassy in the Vatican City (Date tentative). Jobena’s artwork is collected by Indigenous Art Centre, The MNBAQ, The McMicheal Canadian Art Gallery, Global Affairs & Ottawa Art Gallery & private collectors.
