    Andrew Qappik is a renowned Inuk artist from Nunataq (NU). He is known for his catalogued prints and is considered a master of stone carving. As a third-generation artist, he quickly learned to create his own prints. By the time he was fourteen years old, five of his works were featured in the annual Pangnirtung Community Print Collection. His work generally depicts traditional Inuit themes while incorporating contemporary components. In 2010, the Winnipeg Art Gallery (MB) organized a solo retrospective of Andrew Qappik's work and in 2017 he became one of their artists in residence.
