Adamie Qaumagiaq is an Inuk artist living in Kinngait (Cape Dorset, NU). He learned to carve from his father, Pauloosie Qaumagiaq, at a young age and immediately showed considerable promise as an artist. Like his father, Adamie Qaumagiaq’s favourite subject to sculpt is the owl. He is best known for his sculptures of owl families.
