Double opening | Langages textiles, la pensée tissée - Martine Bertrand: Histoire tirées par les fils

Thursday, May 29th, 5:30 to 8 pm

La Guilde invites you to a double opening for the group exhibition Langages textiles, la pensée tissée and Martine Bertrand's solo exhibition Histoires tirées par les fils.

Langages textiles, la pensée tissée

The exhibition features eight artists who explore textiles beyond their materiality, seeing them as a sites for social engagement, spaces for innovation and bridges between media. From weaving integrated with paper and sculpture, to textile photography capturing the patterns of narratives, to dialogues between fibre and technology, the works presented expand the boundaries of textile art.

Martine Bertrand : Histoires tirées par les fils

Artist Martine Bertrand brings her contagious energy to La Guilde with her new solo exhibition. Inspired by her trip to Budapest, she creates works from textiles and paper that explore the human experience, subtly interwoven with the thread of the seamstress.

No reservation is necessary for this event. We look forward to seeing you there!
