Based in Montreal, Nicole Gauvin is a jeweller and painter. After completing her BA in Art Education at UQAM (1974), she obtained a certificate in printmaking (1981), and continued her artistic practice for several years through drawing, painting, and engraving. In 2008, she completed her studies at the École de joaillerie de Montréal and devotes much of her energy to the creation of unique jewellery pieces. The variety and flexibility of metals, stones, pearls, wood, plastics, and other materials offer the potential to explore and push her creativity to the limit.
