Born in Iqalugajuk (NU) and later based in Kinngait (Cape Dorset, NU), Siassie Kenneally (1969-2018) was a graphic artist. She was raised on the land by her father Qaqaq Ashoona and incorporation those experiences into her work. Her detailed drawings of landscapes, community activities, and everyday objects gained her places in several exhibitions throughout Canada and the United States. Siassie Kenneally is also part of the collections of the Candian Museum of History (Gatineau, QC) and the National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa, ON).
