Pitseolak Qimirpik is a talented sculptor based in Kinngait (Cape Dorset, NU). Son of the famous sculptor Kellypalik Qimirpik (1948-2017), he learned carving techniques at a young age and started making his first sculptures at 13. He has since developed his style, often combining contemporary life and popular culture with more traditional elements. His work has been exhibited in Canada, the United States, and Switzerland besides being part of TD Bank’s collection (Toronto, ON).
