Linda Swanson is an accomplished ceramic artist known throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. She holds an MFA from New York College of Ceramics, Alfred University (NY) and is currently teaching Ceramics at Concordia University (Montreal, QC). She is interested in the metamorphic nature of both ceramic materials and processes. Through her work, she highlights the resilience and strength of nature, which to this day remains mysterious to us. Linda Swanson has received much recognition for her work, notably from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, and the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC).
