Katarin Laruelle completed training at the Centre des Textiles Contemporains de Montréal and is currently studying Anthropology at the University of Calgary. She participated in various artist residencies, notably in Iceland and at the Harbourfront Centre (Toronto, ON) in 2015. With a refined aesthetic and a keen interest in form and texture, her background in visual and applied arts has had a significant influence on her creations. In her collection Point de marge, created in 2015, the artist combines weaving and natural dyes with her passion for the world of paper.
