Chung-Im Kim began her career in the textile industry as a pattern designer while running a studio in Seoul (South Korea) and teaching in middle school. Since arriving in Canada in 1990, she has been a resident of the Harbourfront Center Textile Studio Toronto, ON) and has worked in the design industry for over fifteen years as a freelance designer. She recently retired as an associate professor in the Fibre Department of OCAD University (Toronto, ON) and focuses on her creative projects.
