Alexander Clifton Ridley

    A member of the Eagle Clan, Ts'msyen artist Alexander Clifton Ridley born and raised in the village of Hartley Bay, British Columbia. After graduating from the Gitanmaax School of Northwest Coast Indian Art and Design in Hazelton (BC), he worked with several master sculptors. For much of his life, the artist lived on the Pacific coast and was a fisherman. His love of the sea is reflected in his works, which he creates using different materials, including wood, gold, and silver.
