La Guilde invites you to attend a Copper Enamel Workshop hosted by Aurélie Guillaume, jeweller, enameller, and illustrator, as part of the Prix François-Houdé 2018. During this activity, you will have the chance to create your own piece of jewellery, using a copper base which you will cover with powdered glass.
Aurélie Guillaume
A graduate of the École de Joaillerie de Montréal and of NSCAD University in Halifax, Aurélie Guillaume has exhibited her work in Canada, the United States, China, Switzerland and Germany. Some of her artwork has been integrated into the permanent collections of institutions such as the Museum of Art and Design in New York and the Pureun Culture Foundation in Seoul, South Korea. The artist has also won many prizes, of which the 12th National Student Jewelry Competition held at L.A. Pai Gallery in Ottawa.
